Inside Episode XXXV: Join us for our upcoming Sight Sound & Story event featuring the talented editors behind the Emmy-Award winning series, "The Bear." Spearheaded by industry veteran Chad Anderson, this panel boasts award-winning Editors Joanna Naugle, ACE, and Adam Epstein, ACE, BFE, alongside Editor/Assistant Editor Megan Mancini. Together, they'll unveil insights into their creative process, delving into how they collaborated to craft the captivating storylines of "The Bear." Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to gain a behind-the-scenes look at the world of editing, complete with clips from the show and discussions on the meticulous work that brings it all together.

Adam Epstein, ACE, BFE, is an Emmy ® and ACE Eddie nominated editor and condensed group of molecules. Along with back-to-back BFE Cut Above wins for FX’s "The Bear" (Hulu), selected projects he's been a part of include 10 seasons at "Saturday Night Live" (NBC), "The Other Two" (HBO MAX), "Documentary Now!" (IFC), "John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch" (Netflix) and "Bupkis" (Peacock). Epstein is a proud member of MPEG Local 700, The Television Academy and SAG-AFTRA, and is repped by Exile Edit for commercial projects.

Megan Mancini is a New York-based editor and assistant editor. She is best known for her work on FX’s "The Bear" (Hulu), "How To With John Wilson" (HBO) and "Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact" (Netflix).

Joanna Naugle, ACE, is a television and film editor best known for her work on FX's "The Bear" (Hulu), for which she won a Primetime Emmy, ACE Eddie and two BFE Cut Above Awards. Her other television work includes all three seasons of "Ramy" (Hulu), "Big Mouth" (Netflix), "2 Dope Queens" (HBO), "Some Good News" (YouTube) and specials for various comedians including Chris Gethard, Ramy Youssef, Roy Wood Jr. and John Mulaney. Her film work includes "Molli and Max in the Future" (SXSW 2023), "Before You Know It" (Sundance 2019), "Kate Can't Swim" (Slamdance 2017) and the upcoming film Y2K (SXSW 2024). Naugle is a co-owner of Senior Post, a boutique post house located in Brooklyn, and is also a huge fan of flea markets, banana bread and overly-complicated board games.

Chad Anderson is a college professor, animation geek, poet, video editor & skateboarder from the Jersey Shore. He has worked on a range of editing and visual FX projects for corporate, educational, broadcast, non-profit and military organizations all over the country (and once in Korea). Previous clients have included E! Entertainment, "The Charlie Rose Show," the WB, The Count Basie Theatre and a film that went straight to video with John Stamos in it. He holds a Master’s in Education from NJCU and has been teaching for over 18 years. His favorite movie is "Joe Versus the Volcano."
